Victron Solar Charge Controllers

A solar charger gathers energy from your solar panels, and stores it in your batteries. Just like Victron Energy's Inverters and Inverter/Chargers, their BlueSolar PWM and SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers are solidly built. PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controllers are generally less expensive and geared toward smaller applications, while models with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)  technology are able to adjust to the optimum current-voltage point, enabling you to get the maximum power out of your solar panels. All SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers have built in bluetooth so you can easily monitor your system with your mobile device using the VictronConnect app.

Blue Solar PWM Charge Controller

This Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) solar charge controller is an amazing little piece of solar gear as it comes at a very affordable price. This model has two bonus features: An LCD screen for monitoring and programming, and two 5 volt USB ports for charging personal devices.
This model is also pre-programmed algorithms for AGM, GEL, Flooded, or LiFePO4 (with internal BMS only) batteries.
Additional bonus: the wide 55 volt input can allow you to use the less expensive (per watt) 60 cell solar modules.
