Between February 29th and March 1st 2020, over 13,000 tiny home enthusiasts descended on Del Mar Fair Grounds outside San Diego, CA to attend TinyFest California. This was the biggest Tiny event we’ve attended so far.
This was the first TinyFest venue to bring Tiny Living 101 courses to those attendees who signed up. Marc, serving as ambassador for Victron Energy, presented Tiny Home Solar + Energy Storage. Participants learned about load calculations, system and equipment sizing, wiring, and more. The dates for the next TinyFest Midwest have been moved to September 26th and 27th 2020, which will be held at Sleepy Hollow in Des Moines, IA. We’re hoping Covid-19 doesn’t postpone this one, but we also want everyone to be safe!

Met a lot of talented builders at the Austin Great American Tiny House Show. Had fun touring all the quality built tiny homes and sharing information on how people can integrate solar + storage into their current or future home. As Marc traveled the Tiny Home circuit this summer and talked to people about their electrical needs and space allocations, he was able to design one possible solar + storage option. Check it out;
