Our Solar+Power Package is a custom designed combination of solar panels, batteries, and all equipment needed to power your mobile home. You can also choose to include other appliances that are a perfect fit for off-grid living in small spaces, such as a mini-split for heating and cooling, summit energy star refrigerators, induction or propane cooktops, solar cookers, generators, and more.

A Custom Solar Kit is designed to fit your specific energy needs and can include everything you need to get your tiny home off the grid and shore power accessible. Because everyone has different energy and storage needs, we don’t offer a cookie cutter kit, but a more individualized kit in which you have options. We feel you should be a part of your mobile solar design, understand how the components work together, and be able to troubleshoot your system if necessary.

Battery Bank

Custom solar kits begin with accessing your loads and sizing your battery bank. We suggest either AGM or Lithium batteries for mobile applications. While Lithium is more costly upfront, they are the best bang for your buck, and they have a smaller footprint compared to Lead Acid or AGM Batteries. We carry quality brands, including RELiON, Victron, and Discover AES Batteries. While both AGM and Lithium come in a wide range of Amp Hour capacities (ranging from 70Ah to 200Ah), our most popular is the 100Ah.

​You can include custom battery cables as well, making your installation easier with cable lengths you need to keep your wire management in check for your small space. We use Arctic Flex Cable to fabricate flexible, quality cables for your off-grid system.

Another option is making your own cables. We can help with that process as well and offer custom cable sizes as well as all other items you need to make your own, including lugs, heat shrink and appropriate crimpers.

Inverter

We offer Victron Energy pure sine wave inverters in our custom kits. Victron is a popular choice in mobile applications. For those with minimal electrical needs the Phoenix 12 Volt 800 or 1200 Watt Inverter works nice and will allow you to run essentials such as lights, laptops and charge all your devices. Upgrading to the more powerful MultiPlus Compact 12 or 24 Volt 2000 Watt Inverter/Charger will allow you to run a few more items. The MultiPlus Inverter/Charger 12 or 24 Volt 3000 Watt gives you even more power and the new MultiPlus II offers the same output but at 48 volts. 

Though these are the most popular chargers for small or mobile living, Victron offers other inverter/chargers such as the Quattro, which can give you peak power of 5000 or 10,000 watts.
